Free Fortnite Avatars

Fortnite Avatars Currently Free on US PSN Store

There’s only thing better than free and that’s free Fortnite goodies. For once, you can put your wallet to one side, keep those V-Bucks safe under your virtual mattress and rejoice in the fact that – if you’re can get on the US PSN store at least – you’ll have access to a selection of free Fortnite avatars based around some of the game’s most iconic skins. Ravens, llamas and, yes, even Tomatoheads – they’re all here.

Free Fortnite avatars: How to Download Them

To get your hands on the eight free Fortnite avatars available, you have to head to the PSN store on your PS4 console (or use this link) and go to ‘Avatars’. Once there, just search ‘Fortnite’ and you’ll have each free avatar crop up available to download. You should see a screen similar to this, with each of the eight grids.

The eight free Fortnite avatars are as follows:

  • Llama
  • Tomatohead
  • Raven
  • Cuddle Team Leader
  • Ken (Save The World)
  • Penny (Save The World)
  • Ramirez (Save The World)
  • A.C. (Save The World)

As you can see, half of the range are taken from Save the World classes. So, no Tricera Ops or any of the more outlandish skins on offer for free just yet. But we still have Tomatohead, who’s bound to be a fan favorite. He’s worth it for the trolling potential alone.

It’s unknown how long the free Fortnite avatars will last for, nor if they’re even meant to be free, so it’s best to get them while they’re still up and available. If they’re free by design then that’s a nice little show of goodwill by Epic as they ramp up proceedings for Fortnite season 5 and beyond.

If you don’t have a US PSN account then, unfortunately, you’ll have to make one as this offer isn’t available in other regions. Thankfully, the process is nice and painless – as long as you have a US address handy.
