Red Dead Redemption 2’s New Trailer Will Go Live This Week

A new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer will go live this week, with Rockstar announcing that the third official trailer for the open-world game will be broadcast to the world on May 2 at 11 AM Eastern. The new trailer will offer another glimpse at the highly-anticipated game before its October 26, 2018 release date.

Rockstar has remained characteristically quiet about the new game, though we’ve received a couple of trailers thus far indicating what we should expect. The last trailer was released on September 29, 2017, so there has been a long wait between footage. The last time around we received a closer look at Arthur Morgan, the game’s protagonist, though there are still a slew of question marks surrounding the upcoming game.

The one facet of the game that remains a complete mysterious is Red Dead Redemption 2 Online, which is set to follow in the footsteps of Rockstar’s hugely success GTA Online, though aside from that there’s little information about the multiplayer mode. Rumors have circulated suggesting that Rockstar is developing its very own Red Dead Redemption Battle Royale (and if so, Fortnite should be shaking in its non-cowboy boots), though there isn’t much in the way of official info pertaining to the mode. Whatever Rockstar has up its sleeve, it’s sure to be a bank-rolling hit regardless.

The new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer will be available to view at RockstarGames.com and the official Rockstar Games YouTube account, and will be shared right here on GameRevolution when it goes live. Be sure to tune back in to see what Rockstar has in store for us with RDR 2 later this year, in what is sure to be the biggest release of 2018.
