The PUBG Xbox One Test Server is set to launch April 24, finally giving Xbox players the chance to try the Miramar desert map. The PUBG Test Server release date is April 24, and is scheduled to be made available to all players at 12:00 a.m. local time. As soon as it’s midnight in your country, you’ll be able to download the PUBG Xbox One Test Server and ready yourself for the Miramar testing phases.
PUBG Xbox One Miramar Test Phases
To be able to play the on the PUBG Xbox One Miramar desert map, players will need to sign into the Test Server at specific times. These will be both US and EU friendly.
U.S. (PDT) SCHEDULE
4/25, 4/26, 4/27: Servers available 5pm PDT through 11pm PDT
4/28 & 4/29: Servers available 11am PDT through 11pm PDT
EUROPE (CEST) SCHEDULE
4/26, 4/27, 4/28: Servers available 2am CEST through 8am CEST
4/28 & 4/29: Servers available 8pm CEST through 8am CEST
The first PUBG Xbox One Miramar test will be limited to a third-person mode on NA servers. However, PUBG Corp. has said that this may be adjusted “depending on how the test goes.”
Players who prove themselves most helpful in providing feedback will receive a special “bug bounty” reward. 150 players will get the chance to earn some “swaggy” in-game items. With how excited the battle royale community gets over cosmetic goodies, I think this should help motivate testers to report any issues they run into.
The Xbox One version of PUBG is still far behind the PC version. Hopefully the implementation of an Xbox Test Server will help close the gap. There’s a third map currently in testing on PC, and it would be a shame for Xbox players to have to wait months and months to play it. Then there’s the recently released PUBG Mobile, which is going in its own direction with unique modes and training grounds. I wonder when that version will receive the Miramar map!
