Overwatch League Player DreamKazper Released From Boston Uprising Following Alleged Sexual Behavior Towards a Minor

Today on Twitter, the OWL (Overwatch League) team Boston Uprising tweeted that 21-year-old Jonathan ‘DreamKazper‘ Sanchez has been officially released from the team. This occurred due to following allegations of sexual behavior towards a minor, a then 14-year-old girl.

Sanchez was originally suspended from the OWL due to them needing to investigate the matter before making a decision, that decision was made a short while ago and it is unclear on what will happen to Sanchez following this expulsion, it goes without saying that this has been quite a blow to the Overwatch League. See the full tweet from Boston Uprising below:

These allegations will, of course, need to be fully looked at, but the evidence that has been presented already is overwhelming. Please be mindful when clicking the previous link, you may find it disturbing. The reason why Sanchez was suspended in the first place was due to the investigation into alleged inappropriate conversations with a 14-year-old girl. These conversations often ending up sexual and predatory despite Sanchez knowing that the girl was 7 years his junior.

The reveal of his predatory behavior has left many fans of Sanchez stunned, while others are just pleased that the Overwatch League has taken quick action with this reveal and have cut ties with DreamKazper as soon as possible.

It isn’t certain what will happen to Boston Uprising following Sanchez’s removal, and there has been no talk of replacing him. What doesn’t seem so far-fetched to guess is that Sanchez’s existence will be scrubbed from OWL, such as his jersey and other merchandise that celebrated him and his position in Boston Uprising. While some fans may believe it is unfair that Sanchez flushed his career down the toilet, it goes without saying that the girls who have given weight to these allegations deserve peace and support in this trying time.
