Radical Heights Battle Royale Announced by Lawbreakers Devs

Boss Key Productions has revealed its next game, Radical Heights. It will be the developer’s first new game after the failure of its last game, Lawbreakers. Unsurprisingly, Radical Heights is a battle royale game, following the footsteps of PUBG and Fortnite. This comes after Lawbreaker’s publisher Nexon blamed PUBG as the main reason why the FPS game didn’t manage to find an audience.

The official site describes Radical Heights as a “free X-TREME Early Access BATTLE ROYALE shooter.” The game takes place in a futuristic albeit 80s-themed world. The game also differentiates itself from other battle royale games by offering a unique feature where players will be able to keep their cash and earnings after matches whether they win or lose, which can be used to buy better weapons for use for upcoming matches.

During a match, there will also be unique “game show” moments that happen at random, where players have to spin wheels, open prize doors, rush for cash-grabs and more. Radical Heights Project Creative Director Zach Lowery said: “Winning will always be the best feeling, but in Radical Heights you are not only in a survival shooter, you are also in an 80’s-fueled scavenger hunt for prizes. Kick in doors and find cosmetic prizes that you can unlock and use to customize your avatar post-match. If you find it, you get to keep it, win or lose!”

Additionally, there’s already a Founder’s Pack available on Steam. It features over 20 pieces of cosmetic pieces, $10,000 in-game cash and 1000 Rad gems. Players will also receive a startling permanent 10% cash boost on all cash and prizes looted in the game. The Founder’s Pack is available for purchase at $14.99.

Radical Heights will be available to download for free starting on Steam Early Access from April 10th, 2018. Take a look at the gameplay reveal trailer below.
