Destiny 2 Gameplay Specialist

Bungie Is Hiring a Destiny 2 Gameplay Specialist

Bungie is looking to its community for help, asking dedicated players to apply for a new Destiny 2 Gameplay Specialist role. Unlike other Bungie job listings, which require many years of AAA-development experience, as well as high-level qualifications, those filling the role of Gameplay Specialist only need to be hardcore fans of the game.

Destiny 2 Gameplay Specialist: Job Listing

The Destiny 2 Gameplay Specialist will be tasked with playing different endgame scenarios, and providing feedback to the development team. This feedback will no doubt be critical in shaping future updates, and give the devs an idea of how players will react to major changes.

The required skills include: significant Destiny and Destiny 2 experience, with a particular lengthy investment in endgame content; excellent written and verbal communication skills; as well as the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Bonus points are giving for having experienced gameplay with a variety of classes, and for leading clans, large social groups, and/or teaching other players about the game.

It looks like Bungie is really trying to understand what gamers want, and is looking to the more dedicated players for help. This is definitely a step in the right direction, as I think many players would agree that endgame content in Destiny 2 is severely lacking. The sooner this is fixed, the better!

Destiny 2 Gameplay Specialist

The role only is only required for three months, but will undoubtedly make for a great entry into the industry, and will set players up for future QA testing roles and other positions. It will also make use of the hundreds of hours that some players have invested into the game, and the Gameplay Specialist will get to see upcoming content and have a direct involvement in shaping Destiny 2.
