Rocket League Announces New Batman-Heavy DC Super Heroes Pack DLC

What’s better than one Batmobile? How about two of them? Rocket League’s latest DLC release, the DC Super Heroes Pack, is coming March 5 and comes stacked with two of Batman’s best, most iconic vehicles, as well as the chance to represent your favourite DC Super Hero.

Announced on the PlayStation blog, the DC Super Heroes Pack comes with The Dark Knight Rises Batmobile Tumbler, and the more classic, sleeker 1989 Batmobile. For those keeping count, that makes 3 Batmobiles now in Rocket League after the Batman vs. Superman variant.

If The Caped Crusader isn’t your bag, over half-a-dozen of Justice League’s finest have decals, wheels, boosts and player banners ready for you to give a super-charged flavour to your Rocket League matches. The full list is as follows.

  • Aquaman — Decal (Breakout), and Player Banner
  • Batman — Decal (Paladin), and Player Banner
  • Cyborg — Decal (Roadhog), and Player Banner
  • Flash — Speed Force Boost, Wheels, Decal (Venom), and Player Banner
  • Green Arrow — Decal (Hotshot), and Player Banner
  • Green Lantern — Decal (Merc), and Player Banner
  • Superman — Decal (Octane), and Player Banner
  • Wonder Woman — Wheels, Decal (X-Devil), and Player Banner
  • DC Comics — Player Banner

The DLC pack will set you back $3.99 and requires a copy of Rocket League to play.

If you’re dying to see the Batmobiles in action, check out the launch trailer below. It could be nothing but that sure looks like a bespoke Gotham arena poking through in the background. Might we be hitting half-flips and juggling oversized balls just a stone’s throw from Crime Alley? It’s not the weirdest thing to have gone down in that city…
