RUMOR: G4 To Undergo Rebranding In 2013

It looks like G4 TV as we know it will soon no longer exist. According to Variety, G4's gaming-focused shows—Attack of the Show and X-Play—will undergo a rebranding overhaul that may include a name and content change that will appear to be more like GQ magazine. Changes are expected to go into effect in 2013.

If this is indeed true, then no one should be that surprised. The network has suffered two heavy losses this past year with the exodus of Kevin Periera and Adam Sessler, and their former shows have been flopping ever since. Could this rumbling have been in the wind all along and what prompted these two to leave earlier than planned?

The real question is, will I still be able to watch Cops and Cheaters on G4 post-rebranding?
