PUBG is getting a new desert map called Miramar on the test servers starting at 12 AM PT this evening. This announcement was made during The Game Awards 2017, alongside the news that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will come out of early access on PC on December 20. A new trailer gave us a look at the new map, and we’re excited about what we see.

Before tonight, the only map available for PUBG was the Erangel map based on Russia. Miramar changes the aesthetic considerably. It’s set in Central America and has a lot of scrub brush and a real Western feel. While PC players will get to test the new map starting tonight, Xbox One players will have to wait until spring 2018 to get a chance to play.
PUBG 1.0 will release on PC on December 20, and the Xbox Game Preview will be available for Xbox One starting on December 12.
