Why Bethesda Removed Prey 2 From Their Website

Back in April, Bethesda said that Prey 2 wouldn't be a 2012 game, which queued a flurry of speculation about whether Prey 2 has been canceled. Most recently, Bethesda removed Prey 2 from their online portfolio.

So what IS going on?

It's not as scandalous as you might think. According to what a Bethesda spokesman told Eurogamer, they said that they want to keep the site's focus on upcoming titles. Since they don't have much else to discuss about Prey 2, they wanted to keep it off the site until they are ready. Makes sense to me.

The question still remains, however, whether Human Head is still developing the game. That will determine how quickly we see Prey 2 resurface on Bethesda's radar.
