Sony Trademark Suggests Rain Reveal For Gamescom

Our friends at PlayStation Lifestyle are looking forward to Gamescom and Sony's presence at Europe's biggest gaming convention. They're so eager in fact, that they've done some sleuthing and come up with what might be announced during the PlayStation press conference.

Sony has trademarked "Rain" just ahead of Gamescom. While the trademark was filed just in time for Gamescom, it might not necessarily be revealed in Europe. Note that this trademark is "Rain" by Sony Computer Entertainment of America and not "Heavy Rain" by Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe. I can't imagine Heavy Rain's sequel would dial back the precipitation, anyway.

We'll find out more in the coming weeks, like whether or not it'll be a PS3 or PS Vita title.
