Today, Nintendo Switch owners and Super Meat Boy fans got the news they’ve been hoping to hear, the news they’ve been waiting for: Super Meat Boy will be coming to the Switch. While no date or timeline has been established, this will definitely take the edge off some eager Switch owners. See the official announcement below:

This bodes very well for people waiting for announcement of platforms for Super Meat Boy Forever, which Team Meat implied in June would be coming to Nintendo’s newest platform upon release.

The writing has been on the wall for a Switch version of Super Meat Boy. Even just yesterday, Team Meat was on twitter talking about a Nintendo Switch version as a hypothetical. For now, no further details are available, but we will have more as details come to light.
