Watch: Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Debuts New Gameplay, Info

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, Bethesda and Arkane Studios’ upcoming standalone expansion to the Dishonored series, will be here in just one short month and some change, and while we’ve already got a reveal trailer, those hungry for more just got yet another appetizer.

In a brand-new video, Arkane Studios revealed a few new clips of gameplay intercut with game director Harvey Smith talking about how it’s best to experience Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, which stars Billie Lurk – a series favorite – being playable for the first time. In a more detailed release, Bethesda writes that “With a new character comes a unique new set of supernatural abilities, deadly weapons and powerful gear, empowering players to become the ultimate assassin,” continuing to say that players can be “as bloodthirsty – or as merciful” as they like.

The video above shows that there is more to Billie Lurk’s robotic arm that meets the eye. It also shows off a new ability that lets Billie trick guards into thinking that she looks like someone else, through perhaps lethal means. Death of the Outsider closes out the story arc of the political assassination of Jessamine Kaldwin, but Smith feels that even first-time players can pick it up and enjoy it.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will release on September 15, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC for a comparatively low price of $29.99.
