The Secret World Will Be Free This Weekend

Funcom, the developers for the supernatural MMO The Secret World, will be celebrating its first month live by giving away free access and new content to explore during this week.

During the weekend celebration, occurring from August 3rd at 4pm GMT to August 6th at 7am GMT, players can earn a special in-game T-shirt and 1200 bonus points for solving 30 missions, with an accompanying special leaderboard to boot. Each character can also obtain 15 fireworks to brighten the sky for party times. On top of that, anyone with an account for The Secret World can participate during this time.

In that time, playesr can also explore the title's Issue #1 update named Unleashed which will include seven new missions, two nightmare mode dungeons, and a user-based marketplace.
