eBay user tjcurtin1 is offering what seems to be a genuine prototype for the NES The Legend of Zelda for a hefty price tag of $150,000. tjcurtin1 has a 100% positive feedback rate, and the item has already received 18 offers.
According to the seller, he takes this item very seriously, if that's not already clear by the bid price). As far as he knows, it "does not differ from the released version". More importantly, this is only prototype of its kind, whereas carts for Stadium Events and NWC Gold Cart are few, albeit relatively numerous.
Also included in the auction is a copy of The Legend of Zelda fo rNintendo graded 85 as well as free overnight delivery (he better…) to the USA and Canada. tjcurtin1 acquired this cart from DreamTR, who was the original owner. Though it's noted that the item is being sold as "brand new", the above video shows that it's been used.
