Sleeping Dogs Trailer Gets Hard-Boiled

In the latest trailer for Sleeping Dogs, Square Enix and United Front Games decided to show off the gunplay and cover mechanics in their open world action game. What they don't show in the trailer is all the racing, street fighting, triad arresting, flying-kick delivering, vehicle hopping, police chasing, or… well you get the picture.

With Grand Theft Auto V a no show, Sleeping Dogs seems to have the entire window to its open-world-self. The title certainly seems to be shaping up nicely. Before E3 we had a chance to zip around the game's open world and check out the sights and sidemissions. Long story short: it's a ton of fun.

Sleeping Dogs will be out on Xbox 360 and PS3 August 17th.
