Tech Demo Offers Glimpse Of Crash Bandicoot In Next-Gen

Back when I was a young'un there was one series that got an absurd amount of playtime on my television: Crash Bandicoot. But since 1999, Naughty Dog has moved on to other projects such as Jak and Daxter and Uncharted, effectively leaving Crash and the gang to other developers who were never able to recapture the magic of the originals. It makes me wonder, what would Crash Bandicoot look like if it received some modern treatment?

A YouTube user who goes by the name of JakaPixelArt has posted a tech demo which offers a glimpse of what Crash Bandicoot would like in full HD. You can see the video below:

Ah, the memories of cartoony tropical music, delicious wumpa fruit, and nitro crates. I think next-generation Crash Bandicoot and Crash Team Racing titles by Naughty Dog are in order.
