Rumor: Infraworld To Be Quantic Dream’s Surprise Game At E3

Quantic Dream, the famed development team behind the story-focused Heavy Rain is allegedly resuming work on a project that was shelved over five years ago. Formerly dubbed Infraworld, this previously cancelled project from David Cage is rumored to be making a glorious return at Sony's press conference next week.

Thanks to some digging by Superannuation (via Kotaku), a job listing on LinkedIn mentions two titles in the works at Quantic, one called Fiv5 and the other Infraworld. In addition, Sony Europe has trademarked both of these titles. Not only that, but French actress Priscilla Liaud mentioned in her biography that she worked with Quantic Dream on a project that will release in 2013.

Those who played Heavy Rain will also recall an easter egg in the game that teased the previously cancelled project (see above). Fortunately we don't have to wait very much longer, as Sony's press conference is now only just a few days away.
