Anarchy Reigns Delayed Yet Again

Platinum Games has decided to delay the US release of Anarchy Reigns once again. The game was originally slated for release last fall, then it was pushed to January, and then July 3. Now it's being pushed to "later in July." The July 5th release date set for Japan, however, is remaining steadfast.

As the delay is only for a few weeks, it's obviously not for polishing reasons. Platinum Games has pretty much confirmed it by saying that Sega was "looking for the best time" to release it in the US. I'm not sure why early July is a bad time to release, as summer is typically known for being a gaming release lull, unless they want to avoid the July 4th holiday.

I don't care when it releases, as long as it actually does. Platinum Games won me over with Bayonetta and Vanquish. I'm ready to tackle another insane gem from that developer.
