We've been uncovering all sorts of potential games in game developers' online resumes as of late. That was how God of War: Ascension was initially leaked, and now that is how it's been confirmed that there was indeed a Heavenly Sword 2 in the making. But, as you can guess, it was canceled in 2008.
Ninja Theory was the mastermind behind Heavenly Sword, which was one of the PlayStation 3's earliest titles (and biggest hit for awhile). I personally hated Heavenly Sword for the forced SIXAXIS controls alone. The game was beautiful, and it had some fun hack-and-slash, but the rest could die in a fire. After Ninja Theory shelved a sequel, they started work on Enslaved. Sadly, I hated that game too, because I hated telling that bitch what to do.
