No New Xbox At E3

That's right folks…there will be no new Xbox for the media to fawn over at E3 2012, so go on ahead and stop the rumor mill. (Ha! I almost believed that would work.) So what will Microsoft be showing off at this year's E3? Games, Kinect, and more games!

Per his statement to GameInformer, Ryan James, Group PR Manager for Microsoft Studios said:

While we appreciate all the interest in our long-range plans for the future, we can confirm that there will be no talk of new Xbox hardware at E3 or anytime soon.

For us, 2012 is all about Xbox 360—and it’s the best year ever for Xbox 360. The console is coming off its biggest year ever—a year in which Xbox outsold all other consoles worldwide.

There will be no PlayStation 4 at E3 2012 either, so we can most likely assume that Sony's E3 agenda will be Vitatastic. Nintendo will be the only one to show off new hardware yet again. Hopefully this year, they will actually have some decent games to show along with it.
