A fourth installment of one of the PS2's mainstay platformers will be sneaking onto the PlayStation 3 this fall. After the semi-successful re-release of the Sly Cooper HD Collection this past September, Sly and friends are ready to steal the limelight fo' realz this time – by making their first official foray into the current generation of consoles.
Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time will be releasing this fall. This Sly will be the first Sly game not to be created by Sucker Punch, who is currently handling the inFamous franchise. Instead, Sanzaru Games, the team that converted the PS2 Sly games into HD for the PS3, will be heading up the project.
I got a sneak peak at Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time at E3 2011, and what I saw looked very promising. The art style really popped, and the boss fight I witnessed was an epic, fiery battle. Look out for it this fall.
