Bethesda Swears Doom 4 Has Not Been Canceled

Despite what you may have heard from AllGamesBeta about Doom 4 being permanently shelved, Bethesda assures everyone that id's game has NOT been canceled.

Rumors floated around last October about the game being "indefinitely postponed," but Bethesda struck that down nearly as quickly as it surfaced.

From their statement to GameSpot, it seems that Bethesda wants to quash all rumors floating around about the Doom sequel: "When we are ready to talk about the game, we'll let folks know."

In other words, to steal a phrase from The Incredibles, it'll get there when it gets there. It's time to stop speculating and being journalists shit-stirrers. I'm sure that will be followed for all of two seconds.
