Overwatch Joins Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Elite Map Rotation

Activision, Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software have unleashed the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 content drop on Elite Premium members today. The new map titled Overwatch sits atop an under construction New York City high rise, complete with massive drops and precarious perches.

The new images shown here give you a quick view of the steep drops, interiors, and high-traffic exteriors in Overwatch. The new map is accessible via the Elite Playlists options in match making and in Spec Ops survival mode. Overwatch will be avaiable for the PS3 later, and is only available on Xbox Live today. We'll be sure to update you when it comes to PlayStation 3 and PC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is available now for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

I honestly don't now why the makers of the most heavily populated multiplayer shooter would want to segment console owners into haves and have-nots this way. Anyone with a PS3 who skipped out on Elite because of the delay?
