“No Plans” For Minecraft On The Vita

The addiction known as Minecraft has found its way to the PC, Mac, and iOS and Android devices, but it won't be journeying over to the PlayStation Vita.

Daniel Kaplan, business developer for Mojang, confirmed that there are "no plans" to port Minecraft to the Vita. What's most odd about this statement is that Minecraft: Pocket Edition was an exclusive for Sony's gaming phone, the Xperia Play.

However, Kaplan hinted that Mojang's upcoming title, Scrolls, could be Vita-bound. At least, he didn't deny the possibility. He explained that Scrolls is "definitely coming for touch screens," but he wouldn't confirm or deny that the Vita was part of that touch screen realm.

What say you, Minecraft fans? Is this a deal breaker? Do you believe it will come eventually? Or do you not care at all?
