The graph above represents console sales for the Japanese market over the week ending on March 21st.
There's something odd about the graph though, and you might have to squint to see what it is. Obviously we're not talking about the 3DS which lead hardware sales in the far east.
It's no secret that the Xbox 360 isn't Japan's favorite console. In fact, Microsoft's sisyphean battle has not slowed for a second in that sector of the market. You could say that between March 14th and March 21st the boulder rolled backwards on Microsoft.
The PS2, a console that launched in 2000, sold more units than the Xbox 360. Take it away, Nelson:
