Netflix Scraps Plan To Rent Video Games

Netflix doesn't have a clue what they want to do with themselves.

Back in September, the online video rental service announced that it would be splitting into two. Netflix would be the streaming service, while Qwikster would be their through the mail service. The same day, they announced plans to begin renting video games, as well.

That day might as well never have happened. Because they canned Qwikster quickly, and have now announced that they've dropped plans to offer video game rentals.

The moral of this story is: If Netflix announces something, don't bother getting excited, it won't happen anyway. Seriously, who is in charge there? I bet they wear flip-flops all year-round. And I hate flip-flops with a passion.
