MTV Parent Company Ordered to Pay $383 Million to Rock Band

One time I was in court… indecent exposure. No, I'm just kidding! That was Anthony.

Anyways, Viacom, parent company of Nickelodeon, MTV, and the now defunct MTV Games Publishing has been ordered by… some legal… body… somewhere to pay Harmonix Music Systems shareholders $383 Million dollars. You might remember Harmonix being sold for a song just over a year ago.

Arbitration decided on December 19th that unpaid bonuses to the tune of $383M were due as part of the original 2006 acquisition. Viacom is fighting the decision, but they're probably going to be forced to pay up… just like Anthony that one time he exposed himself in public.
