Electronic Arts Now in Control of Your PopCap Data

This is more of a PSA than a surprise. Electronic Arts acquiring PopCap is already old news, and now that they have control, they were bound to be in charge of all your PopCap data.

No earlier than January 2, 2012, Electronic Arts will be responsible for your PopCap user information, and you will be prompted to accept the change of hand. You will have to agree to EA's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy within 30 days from now or, and I quote from the official notice, "YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS POPCAP’S PRODUCTS OR SERVICES".

If you wish EA not to access your data and simply stop using PopCap as of December 31, 2011, you can contact PopCap's support services.
