Roxio Doesn’t Just Burn CDs, They Capture Games Too!

You don't think we've been watching? Are you worried? What could we have caught you doing? Don't worry dear Game Revolution readers, we're actually quite proud of what you've been doing with your joysticks and your… video equipment. And voyeurism! I guess if you've got something to be proud of you should show it off!

We're referring to this forum thread, chock full of incredible Call of Duty kills and the occasional Guitar Hero riff

Of course, you've all had to resort to various method of recording your gameplay and getting it to the internet for everyone to see. That's why Roxio is hoping to rectify the situation with an all-in-one capture box that not only records gameplay in HD (albeit low-resolution HD) but does it in an affordable package.

Roxio announced their Game Capture device that's due out on March 24th. The box will run you $99.99 and record in 480p from composite cable sources. While the capture box will come with a software suite full of editing tools, Roxio will also have a PC gaming capture software box on retail shelves eventually for half the price at $49.99.

We'll do our best to let you know if Roxio's box is worth your hardware buying dollars soon.
