Two Xbox 360 250GB Bundles Ready for the Holidays

Major Nelson is full of new announcements today and has revealed two Xbox 360 250GB Slim Holiday Bundles.

The first bundle at a suggested retail price of MRP $399 comes with a Kinect, Kinect Adventures, Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do, and 3 months of Xbox LIVE Gold. My roommate tells me that Kinect Adventures sells for $3 at GameStop (it could have been lower…) and Carnival Games isn't, well, the best game to show off the Kinect. I know this is meant to target children, but I've seen children love Dance Central and Kinectimals much more than those two games. Sure, kids are forgiving, but I would rather bring them up right.

The second—and much better—bundle at $299 comes packaged with Fable III and Halo: Reach, also with 3 months of Xbox LIVE Gold. Say what you will about Fable III, but whatever the case, it's better than the the other two games in the other bundle. And Halo: Reach?

Well, we know which one is going to win.
