Dead Space 2 And 3 Arrive On Xbox One Backward Compatibility, List Surpasses 350 Games

Microsoft has invested a lot of time and money into supporting backward compatibility on the Xbox One. It's one of the brand's greatest feats this generation, and it's only getting better.

Major Nelson has confirmed via Twitter that both Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 will be added to Xbox One backward compatibility later today. It will be accompanied by several Cabela's games, including Cabela's Dangerous Hunts.

The Dead Space franchise was considered arguably the best of survival horror during the last generation of consoles, arriving at a time when the genre was struggling. The original Dead Space and Amnesia: The Dark Descent are usually credited with keeping horror afloat during the period.

With this addition, the Xbox One backward compatibility list will push to over 350 supported titles, most notably including Red Dead Redemption, Skate 3, Mass Effect 2, and Bioshock, among other high-rated titles.
