Call of Duty: WWII has finally shown us its first true glimpse, with the official trailer dropping at the worldwide live stream event.
The trailer, seen above, is largely cinematic, though it is rendered in-game. It reveals some plot details and characters, as well as the return of the classic Flamethrower weapon.
During the live stream, Activision revealed that there will be a multiplayer beta taking place later this year, before the release of the game, obviously, which is slated for Nov. 3.
The company also promised that "you'll be hearing more from us more often," with Sledgehammer Games taking center stage first on to show how authentic the game was. The developers tested old WWII weapons, toured battle areas from the war, and researched other WWII vehicles.
GameRevolution will update this story if any other important details come to light.
