Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia Leak Reveals Growth Rates, Character Portraits, Spell Lists, Soundtrack, And More

You might not think a remake of a game over 20 years old could contain both spoilers and gobs of new and sensitive information, but Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is no mere remake. According to recent posts to the series dedicated subreddit and fan forum Serenes Forest, the Japanese version of the game has been leaked, resulting in a torrent of new and detailed info surfacing about the game.

The leaks first began appearing approximately two and three hours ago this morning, and can be seen populating the front page of r/ fireemblem (don't worry, spoiler tags are used). The source of at least some of the leaked info appears to be popular Fire Emblem forum Serenes Forest, where user VincentASM is compiling highly requested or sought-after info from the game's files. It's unclear if VincentASM has simply obtained the already-leaked files or is an originator, but as mentioned, we do know the source is a Japanese copy of the game.

If you're spoiler averse you'll likely want to avoid much of the information below, but for those interested we've compiled some of what's been made public so far. Otherwise, keep an eye on Reddit and Serenes for further updates from the Shadows of Valentia leak throughout the day.

The game's soundtrack has also been posted, and from the quick listen I took sounds quite wonderful and inline with the series' high aural pedigree. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia launches in the US and Europe on May 19th, so the wait shouldn't be too terribly long if you opt to avoid all leaked information until then.
