Nielsen Reports: These are the Most Wanted Games of Holiday 2011

I'll skip all the malarkey and just get to the numbers. These figures are based on Nielsen's polling of 5000 gamers asking them to rank their top 5 most anticipated titles of the Fall season. There's all kinds of disappointing in the list, but you really shouldn't be surprised by any of it:

I know you might suggest that Just Dance 3 doesn't really deserve a place in this list. Let's not get into a discussion where we write off anyone looking forward to a dancing game. The fact is, this is a pretty accurate snapshot of what gamers everywhere want. Let's face it. Nielsen's gotta be smart enough to eliminate all the ~~trolls~~ outliers.

Star Citizen

Star Citizen is an upcoming space trading and combat simulator video game for Microsoft Windows. Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42). The game will also feature VR support.
