Ed Boon Will Give Away Injustice 2 Beta Codes This Weekend

The beta period for Injustice 2 has been shrouded in secrecy since its announcement two weeks ago. When are keys going out? How many are going out? When does the beta start? When does it end?

While the beta is assuredly going on (we know that from the YouTube and streaming community that has received codes), we don't know much else. The beta keys are reportedly going out in "waves," as the official Injustice 2 Twitter account has announced, but not many more details have been given.

But, for those still eager to hop online and have a chance to play the upcoming DC-focused fighter, you have a slight chance on the horizon – a ray of hope. While NetherRealm creator Ed Boon posted on Twitter that the beta is quite limited so they're unable to give codes to everyone (or even that many people, as it seems), he personally has a "handful of codes," ready for giveaways.

But, don't expect there to be very many (I'm thinking 20 tops), and don't expect it to be a straight-forward giveaway either. Moments after the above Tweet, Boon Tweeted that he won't just be giving them out and that wants to "think of a fun way" to give out the codes.

So, if you're still on the hunt for an Injustice 2 beta code, I suggest religiously stalking Ed Boon's Twitter account. But make sure you're ready to dance if asked, and remember to ask "how high" when you're told to jump.
