505 Games Announces Stardew Valley Retail Collector’s Edition

One of the best and most surprising titles of 2016 will soon have an actual place on your shelf.

The acclaimed farming simulator Stardew Valley, which racked up loads of acclaim from both GameRevolution and the rest of the games press, not to mention its ravenous community, has only been available as a digital download on all three platforms.

Today, however, publisher 505 Games announced that it will be releasing a physical, retail collector's edition for the PS4 and Xbox One that is "coming soon." Along with the announcement came the beautiful trailer seen above that shows the incredible depth of gameplay on display with Stardew Valley, in addition to showcasing the game's one-of-a-kind soundtrack.

I think I may have this video on repeat just so I can listen to that song in the background of my day, but that's just me.

Digging a little deeper, 505 Games announced a release date of April 11, 2017, and that the collector's edition includes a Pelican Town map, soundtrack and a mini-guide, so you soon won't have to repeat YouTube videos to hear their great songs.
