If you haven't heard of this guy before, perhaps you've heard of The Room before. If not, then consider yourself lucky, I guess. The Room is considered by many to be the worst movie of all time, directed by, produced by, written by, and starring… you guessed it, Tommy Wiseau.
Destructoid recently had the infamous filmmaker on their podcast for an interview, and he stated in no uncertain terms his desire to make a video game movie:
Sure, this is the thing, you have to be open-minded. Entertainment's changing, constantly. As you guys know… from 35, to HD, to 'Super-HD' [as] I'm calling it right now. Yes, absolutely you can create a movie based on a game, based on the animation, I mean you can go [to] infinity. You have to be open-minded. Absolutely, the answer's yes, sure.
Did anyone else think that was incoherent babbling? We already have to put up with Uwe Boll thinking he has an ounce of talent to make films out of games, and now this guy wants to do the same. Is there no justice in the world?
