DICE Reveals “They Shall Not Pass” Expansion For Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1's first post-launch expansion is exactly what was rumored, although its name is certainly more interesting. Called "They Shall Not Pass", the package will feature new maps, weapons, as well as a new playable French Army faction.

Inspiration for They Shall Not Pass was taken from real battles that were waged in Verdun, Fort Vaux, and Samogneux during the Great War. New tactical opportunities will arise from harsh chokepoints featured on bridges and tunnels. These hot spots will become playgrounds for gas grenades, flamethrowers, and other equipment.
