Blizzard Hit By Second DDoS Attack In Three Days

A mere two days after Blizzard experienced persistent DDoS attacks, the customer support Twitter page has confirmed that it's happening again.

It's unclear exactly which games this is affecting. On Dec. 4, this was isolated to World of Warcraft and Overwatch servers. We will update this story as more details become available.

Like Krampus coming to town instead of Santa, this is the season where these attacks seem to happen the most. For Blizzard, this comes at a particularly inopportune time, with Overwatch's Christmas event finally being announced to start next week.

In a way, they should count themselves lucky that it didn't happen during that high-traffic time.
