Dishonored 2 Will Get Free Content Update In December

Arkane Studios has been vocal about its commitment to supporting Dishonored 2. Today, it has demonstrated that by announcing a significant upcoming update.

During December a free update will hit Dishonored 2 that will provide new ways to play. These include new custom difficulty modifiers that allow you to tailor the experience to your tastes. Some fans have recognized this as a big opportunity for unique playthrough challenges, which have become popular on YouTube and Twitch in recent years. The update will also introduce a New Game+ mode, which will retain your power progression so you can enjoy the benefits of every unlock without working your way through the tree a second time.

The update was shown off in a new trailer. Seen below,  it includes developer commentary and gameplay footage.
