Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 Trailer Shows Impressive 1080p Gameplay Footage

Lara Croft has finally come home. After a year of PC and Xbox One exclusivity, Rise of the Tomb Raider is finally set to arrive on the PS4. It's been a long year's wait for PlayStation gamers, but judging by the launch trailer it has something special in-store for their patience.

The official Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration launch trailer has arrived. More than two thirds of its three minute length is devoted from raw gameplay footage. It shows several of the game's remarkable environments, in addition to introducing some of the extra content exclusive to the PS4 version. You can see it below:

The PS4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider includes additional story content, a co-op mode, as well as a new mission that supports PlayStation VR. The game runs at 1080p, but will support multiple graphical configurations in lieu of the arrival of PS4 Pro.

Our very own Peter Paras awarded Rise of the Tomb Raider a perfect 5.0/5 when reviewing the Xbox One version last year. Considering the PS4 version will include some extras, it's safe to say that it's a recommendable pick-up for this Fall season.
