Kojima Says Metal Gear Solid 3D Will Release in 2012

It's no surprise that we can't find Snake and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. Have you seen the 3DS version's ability to disguise itself in its surroundings? I didn't think so. It's so well-hidden. We're not about to hire a bunch of wacky terrorists either. So what's a games journalist to do?

Seek out Hideo Kojima, that's what! As the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, he should have the best idea of when the game will be released right? Andriasang reports:

Regarding Metal Gear Solid 3D, the 3DS remake of the PS2's MGS 3: Snake Eater, Hideo Kojima mentioned the previously announced "this winter" release time frame for the game. However, he clarified that this means early 2012 rather than later this year.

Damn you, winter! Damn you and your trickery!
