Quantum Break No Longer a Microsoft Store Exclusive, Heading to Steam

Microsoft and Remedy has revealed that Quantum Break will be arriving on Steam on September 14, breaking the PC exclusivity with the MS Store.

Xbox's Aaron Greenberg previously stated that Quantum Break wouldn't be available on Steam in a Major Nelson podcast in February this year and that it would be "a Windows Store exclusive."

However, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has stated that we would see Microsoft's games on Steam eventually, positioning its own games on the MS Store as being timed exclusives.

Quantum Break will also be releasing at retail in the form of a Timeless Collector's Edition, published by Nordic Games, which will come with all of the game's latest updates as well as a bunch of extras: a "Making of" book, a "Making of" Blu-ray, a soundtrack CD, two posters, and a quickstart guide.

Launching earlier this year in April, Quantum Break received a 3.5/5 on GameRevolution for having "fun, engaging gameplay" but having technical issues and rushed pacing.
