Modern Warfare 3 Prestige Edition Goes AWOL

The breaking-news Twitter torch has been passed from Sony's Shuhei Yoshida to Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling as confirmation comes through on the Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 3. What could possibly come packaged in? Maybe a real working missile launcher! Maybe a nuclear-warhead launch submarine! Maybe some soap from the Russian Gulag Captain Price broke out of!

Nope, nothing. There'll be no Prestige Edition for Modern Warfare 3. Obviously Activision wants gamers to get hooked on Call of Duty Elite. You'll have to show off your ~~stupidity~~ Call of Duty fandom with the $100 Hardened Package.
