Peter Griffin, Hank Hill, Bender, Stan Smith, and Bob Belcher Face Off in Crossover Card Game

Kongregate has announced a crossover card game called Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards which features characters from nearly every FOX animated show. Well, apart from The Simpsons since EA already has that locked down.

The new collectible card game for mobile devices (did you stop reading here?) will be similar to Hearthstone, and will have players form decks with characters like Hank Hill, Leela, Peter Griffin, and I imagine at least every character in the lead picture above. If one of these cards isn't a giant chicken, I will be disappointed.

The crossover will include Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad!, Bob's Burgers, and King of the Hill. The game will have online battles between players, though there is no mention of a single-player campaign or how microtransactions will work at this time.

Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards will be promoted pretty much everywhere from Kongregate and GameStop (who owns Kongregate) to FOX Digital Entertainment, so you'll be hearing about it a lot before its release date of Q3 for iOS and Android.
