Original Crysis Remastered, Coming to Consoles in October

The original Crysis for PC was a huge success, enough to warrant a sequel and expansion onto consoles. However, console owners smitten with the franchise had to look to the PC to experience the series' roots. But soon, console owners will get to taste the past, as a remastered version of the original Crysis is coming to Xbox LIVE and PSN in October.

A video debuted late last night confirming the game's existence. All footage shown is from the Xbox 360 version. During the video, it says that the lighting has been remastered. Unfortunately, in this situation, remastered should be translated to "doesn't look as good". Because it sure as hell doesn't look as good as the PC version, even though it was released back in 2007.

The good news is, Crysis will only cost you $20 to download when it does arrive next month.

Anyone picking this up?
