The First Warcraft Film Trailer Is Here, and It’s Amazing

Film adaptations of video games have a long history of disappointment, but the moment Legendary announced a Warcraft film all that was forgotten. It made sense; the biggest fantasy IP of the gaming industry meets the big screen. The only problem is the long wait until it releases.

We're just eight months out from Warcraft's release, and Legendary has debuted its first post-production complete trailer for the film. While only 15 seconds long it shows Stormwind, gryphons, wolves, Orcs, and Humans in the highest fidelity they have ever been seen in before. Check it out below:

Warcraft is being directed by Duncan Jones who is most famous for his work on Moon. The film stars actors such as Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, and Toby Kebbel who assume the role of popular characters including Sir Anduin Lothar, Medivh, and Khadgar. It's set early in the Warcraft timeline during the early days of Orc and Human conflict.

This Friday at BlizzCon the full trailer will be revealed. Stay tuned.
