Jaffe Follows the Voice, Gives PAX Keynote

Wanted to go to PAX Prime but couldn't make the trip? Well, at least one cool part of it has hit the web in the form of David Jaffe's hour-long keynote.

In what might be taken as a young, prospective game developer's inspiration speech, he discusses his history with the gaming industry with lots of stories. It's always interesting to hear the untold background stories of game industry bigwigs and pioneers like Jaffe and in that way, hearing him tell his story and give his outlook makes for a a good listen.

They can be a bit tangential at times, but he says "fuck" a lot so it stays fresh. His theme is "voice," how everyone has a voice, and his was/is his driving force, and your voice enables you and me to say "fuck" on a stage. Or, wait, that may have been it. I got lost. Voice. Rocket fuel.
