Big Hero 6 Is Coming to Kingdom Hearts III

During Disney's D23 Expo this weekend, Square Enix announced that one of the new worlds featured in Kingdom Hearts III will be themed around the movie Big Hero 6

Instead of merely retelling the story of film within the game, however, players will get to experience what happens after the events of the movie, marking the return of Baymax and the iconic San Fransokyo setting.

And that wasn't the only Kingdom Hearts-related news Disney had for fans at D23, as the company also announced that the series' famous Keyblade would be featured in Disney Infinity 3.0 as an Ultimate Unlock, which can be acquired by unlocking the various figures in the game's Hall of Heroes.

"Everyone keeps asking me about Kingdom Hearts," Disney Infinity VP of production said (via ComicBook.com). "I've been alluding to a passion project that I've been working on for some time, and that's what this is. We have had this planned out for about 8 months, with a lot of back and forth with our partners at Square-Enix. A lot of people are confused about who exactly owns Kingdom Hearts, but it's Disney – it's developed in partnership with Square-Enix."

What do you make of the addition of Big Hero 6 to Kingdom Hearts III and this Disney Infinity crossover news? What other Disney worlds would you like to see featured in Square's upcoming action-RPG?
